Before You Go ("us", "we", "our") is a life planning comparison site and broker service that can be used, amongst other things, to find the funeral plans that match your needs. Before You Go is a trading style of Before You Go Limited.
Therefore, if you are:
a private individual wanting to use the Website and price comparison technology to find prices for life planning products and services on your own behalf and/or on behalf of a close family member; or
acting on behalf of a company wanting to use our Website and price comparison technology to find prices for life planning products and services on behalf of the company; and
not involved in any way in searching for life planning products and services as a business and;
you are permitted to use the Website and price comparison technology on a temporary basis to find the information you need. When comparing services, or providers, or downloading information, you must ensure that you enter complete and accurate details so that we can provide you with the appropriate information.
The use of this site is intended for United Kingdom residents only. Nothing set out herein shall constitute an offer or promotion for products or services outside of the United Kingdom.
This website is for non-commercial use, meaning it is only for personal use or for businesses seeking a product or service directly for that business only. Unauthorised commercial or bulk use may slow down the speed of the service we can provide for our customers. We will monitor the use of our services. If we detect commercial or bulk usage before we have sent the results of our search, we may abort the search. In this Agreement the following terms shall have the following meanings:

means a price provided by a service or product provider based upon the information You have provided and for the purposes of comparison against other service or product providers. We make no representation or provide any assurance as to the availability, accuracy or suitability of the product or service for which a price comparison has been provided;
means the services available to you through this Website, specifically the provision of a price comparison website for use in procuring or comparing funeral services and/or plans;
means any online communications infrastructure that Before You Go makes available through the Website either now or in the future. This includes, but is not limited to, review facilities, web-based email, message boards, live chat facilities and email links;
"Website" or “Site”
means the Website That you are currently using (www.beforeyougo.love) and any sub domains of this site unless expressly excluded by its own terms and conditions.
On the website the following terms shall have the following meanings:
“Independent” means a business entity which is owned, controlled and operated by a single person, family, or number of shareholders through the company itself or a parent/group company structure, which may or may not include investor shareholders.
“Co-operative” means a business entity which is ultimately owned and controlled by a number of shareholders. Subject to the exceptions in Clause 6 of these Terms and Conditions, all Content included on the Website (unless uploaded by Users, including, but not limited to, domain names, logos, trademarks, service marks, database rights, rights in design, rights in knowhow, patents and rights in invention - in all cases whether registered or unregistered and including all rights to apply for registration - text, graphics, icons, images, sound clips, video clips, data compilations, page layout, underlying code and software, domain names and all other intellectual or industrial property rights in any jurisdiction) is the property of Before You Go, our affiliates or other relevant third-parties. By continuing to use the Website you acknowledge that such material is protected by applicable United Kingdom and International intellectual property and other laws.
Subject to Clause 6 you may not reproduce, copy, distribute, store or in any other fashion re-use material from the Website unless otherwise indicated on the Website or unless given express written permission to do so by Before You Go.

Unless otherwise expressly indicated, all Intellectual Property rights including, but not limited to, Copyright and Trademarks, in product images and descriptions, belong to the manufacturers or distributors of such products as may be applicable.
You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, store or in any other fashion re-use such material unless otherwise indicated on the Website or unless given express written permission to do so by the relevant manufacturer or supplier.

10. Use of the sQored rating and product or service reviews
Those wishing to use the sQored rating system or reviews to help them find and purchase a suitable product or service in any of its forms (e.g. content or videos), do so on the understanding we have used our best endeavours to provide an accurate review of the products and services provided by third-parties at the time the rating and review was created. We cannot accept responsibility for any purchase that is later found to be unsuitable, due to any inaccuracies, omissions, limitations or exceptions in the rating and review content provided. Ratings and reviews remain subject to change.

We may terminate your Account in the event that you:

In the event that we have to terminate your account we will be under no obligation to provide a reason for such termination.
13. Our Obligations to You
We provide a means by which you can compare various products and services to ascertain which is best suited to your particular circumstances. Based upon the information provided you will receive a quote or quotes that you can use to compare against other services or products.
It is therefore vitally important that when providing information to any product or service providers you ensure that the information submitted is accurate and truthful. A failure to provide correct information could invalidate any subsequent contract between you and the product or service provider or materially affect the price you are expected to pay or the service you are provided.
14. Your Obligations to Us
It is your responsibility to ensure that all information you enter onto Before You Go is true, accurate and complete and that you disclose all relevant and material facts. If you do not provide accurate information and disclose all material facts this could lead to inaccurate pricing.
Once you have accepted a product or service from a third-party provider, it is important that you read all the documents (including key features and terms and conditions) issued to you by your selected provider as they may differ from ours. You need to also ensure that you are aware of any levels of service, limitations and any other terms that apply. If any information is not correct, it is your responsibility to identify the mistake and correct this with the provider directly.
15. Validity of Quote
Any quote provided may be subject to limitations or exceptions or terms and conditions specific to that product or service provider. It is your responsibility to investigate and ensure whether any specific provisions apply to you. Prices and Cashback contained in quotes provided remain subject to change.
16. Cashback Award
You will be eligible for cashback on any plan that includes a cashback offer, and only when
The following must apply:
- You buy your funeral plan through Before You Go. You can buy online, or speak with a member of the funeral planning team over the phone or via video chat, or by application form naming Before You Go as the source.
- You buy your funeral plan from the plan provider direct, naming Before You Go as the source of your purchase and providing Before You Go receives a marketing fee from the plan provider. It is at the plan provider's discrection to determine whether the information you provide is genuine.
- You have successfully passed the qualifying period (see the Qualifying period table) and have met the required number of consecutive cleared payments .
When do I get my cashback?
You will receive your cashback within one month after successfully passing the qualifying period and making the required number of consecutive cleared payments associated with your payment plan. You will be eligible for an early cashback payment if you clear the required number of payments before the end of the qualifying period.
We will be in touch with you after the qualifying period to check which account you would like us to credit. Let us know if your contact details change by writing to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
We will endeavour to contact you for a period of 12 months after the qualifying period. If we are unable to reach you, your cashback will be passed on as a donation to our nominated charity for that year.

We reserve the right to change or cancel the terms of the Cashback offer at any time. We do not accept responsibility for late payment or for non-payment of cashback if we are supplied the wrong bank account details or are unable to contact you. We reserve the right to reclaim or adjust any cashback payment made to you in error.
Cashback is not available with any other offer unless stated.
17. Referral Award
You and a friend will be eligible for a referral award when that friend buys a prepaid funeral plan through Before You Go naming you when they buy. There is no limit to the number of referral awards you can receive.
We reserve the right to change or cancel the terms of the Referral award scheme at any time. We do not accept responsibility for late payment or for non-payment of the referral award if we are supplied the wrong bank account details or are unable to contact either party within six months. We reserve the right to reclaim or adjust any referral payment made in error.
18. Our Responsibility for Content
We have taken the greatest care to ensure the information contained in this website is accurate and up-to-date and that any statements of fact are true and accurate. However, we can accept no liability for any inaccuracies or omissions on our part or on the part of third-party websites who may owe you a separate duty of care.
Whilst we take every reasonable step to counteract viruses and other things with contaminating or destructive properties, we can give no warranty that this site and its content are free from viruses or anything else that has such contaminating or destructive properties. We would encourage you to use your own anti-virus software when using the internet or visiting websites.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Before You Go accepts no liability for any direct or indirect loss or damage, foreseeable or otherwise, including any indirect, consequential, special or exemplary damages arising from the use of the Website or any information contained therein. Users should be aware that they use the Website and its Content at their own risk.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or restricts Before You Go's liability for death or personal injury resulting from any negligence or fraud on the part of Before You Go.
Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or restricts Before You Go's liability for any direct or indirect loss or damage arising out of the incorrect provision of Services or out of reliance on incorrect information included on the Website.
Whilst every effort has been made to ensure that these Terms and Conditions adhere strictly with the relevant provisions of the Unfair Contract Terms Act 1977, in the event that any of these terms are found to be unlawful, invalid or otherwise unenforceable, that term is to be deemed severed from these Terms and Conditions and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining Terms and Conditions. This term shall apply only within jurisdictions where a particular term is illegal.
No Waiver In the event that any party to these Terms and Conditions fails to exercise any right or remedy contained herein, this shall not be construed as a waiver of that right or remedy.
Third-Party Rights Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall confer any rights upon any third-party. The agreement created by these Terms and Conditions is between you and Before You Go.
23. Contacting Us and Complaints Procedure
All notices / communications shall be given to us either by post to our Premises (see address above) or by email to email@example.com. Such notice will be deemed received 5 days after posting if sent by first class post, the day of sending if the email is received in full on a business day and on the next business day if the email is sent on a weekend or public holiday.
Our aim is at all times to provide a first-class standard of service. However, there may be occasions when you feel we may have not achieved this. If we fall short of our own high standards then we want you to tell us. At Before You Go we take all feedback seriously.
In the first instance complaints should be addressed to us via email. When contacting us regarding a complaint please provide details of the issues you have encountered along with your full name, contact address and telephone number and times at which it would be most convenient to contact you.
Once the complaint is received we will endeavour to respond to you as promptly as possible and in any event within 24 hours and try, where possible, to achieve an amicable resolution.
If your complaint is regarding a provider that you have purchased a product or service through and with whom we put you in touch, then you should address your complaint direct to that company, the trade association, or ombudsman to which that provider belongs (where applicable). Before You Go cannot accept liability for errors made by the selected provider or answer complaints on their behalf. In such an event we recommend you follow the guidelines provided in their complaints procedure.
24. Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms and Conditions and the relationship between you and shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the Law of England and Wales and we and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales
